The Bajaj Dominar 250 bike is built to welcome ambitious bikers into the world of touring. The new Bajaj Dominar 250 intends to emulate the success achieved by its bigger sibling, Dominar 400.
Design and Features
The new Bajaj Dominar 250 has almost the same design as the 2019 update on its 400cc sibling. The new Dominar has the same muscular design, aggressive looks, same all-LED lights, and the same power-packed performance, with the only difference being that the 250 sports cruiser is lighter in weight.
The Dominar 250 consists of Dual Note Exhaust, with an eye-catching design that delivers superior acoustic feedback from every rev and throttle on the road. The full LED Mosaic Headlamps provide visibility up to 1500 m.
The Dominar 250 also has USD front forks for unmatched stability and hard braking, Primary and Secondary consoles for clear and undistracted display. The Bajaj Dominar has a length of 2156mm, a width of 836mm, and 1112mm. Similarly, the wheelbase is 1453mm with a ground clearance of 157mm.
The seat height of the new Dominar 250 is 800mm and weighs 180kg. The upright seating stance keeps you engaged and in-command. The muscular designed bike is available in Charcoal Black and Canyon Red color.
Engine and Performances
The Dominar 250 is powered by a Liquid Cooled 248.77cc engine, Single-Cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC Engine, 4-Valve, and Fuel Injection (FI) System. The top speed of the new Dominar is recorded to be 135 Km per hour, while it can make 0-100kmph in 10.5 seconds. It can generate a maximum power of 19.85 kW (27 PS) at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 23.5 Nm at 6500 rpm.
The torque of 23.5 Nm allows the Dominar 250 to cruise through hilly terrain with low gear shifts and improved fuel efficiency. It also has a Slipper Clutch for effortless downshifts and smoother engine braking for an unrivaled riding experience. It has a stroke of 61.1mm and a bore of 72mm.
The Euro 3 standard cruiser is mated with a 6-speed gearbox featuring assist and will feature a twin-spark configuration.
Brakes and Tires
Bajaj Dominar 250 has telescopic 37mm USD front fork suspension on the front, and Multi-step adjustable Mono shocks with Nitrox on the rear suspension with a wheel stroke of 110mm. The front brake of the Dominar 250 is a 300 mm diameter disc, and the rear brake is a 230 mm diameter disc.
The Dominar 250 consists of both tubeless tires of 100/80-17 in the front and 130/70-17 rear tire. The Bajaj Dominar 250 is equipped with Dual Channel ABS, which delivers safety and superior reliability for every road and highway.
