After dominating the 150cc bike range in Nepal, Bajaj is now looking to bring in the Pulsar 125 Neon. The bike has been launched in India and interestingly, rumors suggest that the Bajaj Pulsar Neon 125 was seen in the streets of Terai. It is already available in India, which means, soon enough it will finally make its way to the Nepali market. The bike is available in two variants – disc and the drum brake variant. While we do not know the exact date, we can assure you that Bajaj Pulsar Neon 125 is coming very soon. According to sources, the official Bajaj Pulsar 125 Price in Nepal will be Rs. 2,24,900
Engine and Performance
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is powered by 124.4cc single-cylinder DTS-i engine which features air-cooling. Surprisingly it has a 5-speed gearbox which is rare in the 125cc segment. When it comes to power, it generates a maximum power of 12PS at 8500rpm.
It generates a maximum torque of 11Nm at 6500rpm. Moreover, the chassis, suspension, and tires are the same as Pulsar 150cc. Therefore it is a similar experience to it’s bigger sibling 150, but with a bit less power.
Design and Features
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon will be available in three different color variants i.e. Neon Red, Neon Blue, and Neon Silver. For the design, there is not much change from the past. The bike features similar design language compared to the Pulsar 150.
The Neon theme is an interesting look with a matte black paint scheme on the body and some blue highlights on the fuel tank logo, side panels, alloy wheels, and the pillion grab handle. This makes the bike look so much better.
Brakes and Tires
As mentioned earlier, Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon comes in two different variants when it comes to braking. The disc brake variant and the drum brake variant. The disc variant features a single front-disc of 240mm and a 130mm drum brake on the back.
Nevertheless, the drum brake variant comes with 170mm and 130mm drum brakes on the front and back respectively. Since the bike is the only 125cc, it does not require an ABS feature, which makes this bike affordable to larger demographics.
Bajaj bikes have been known for decent fuel efficiency and with a 125cc engine, we believe that the company will continue doing the same. Firstly, the Bajaj Pulsar 125cc comes with a huge fuel tank of 15L. Bajaj has claimed the mileage to be 62kmpl on paper but, be advised that it might differ according to road conditions. Still, with a fuel tank this large and a top-notch mileage, cruisers can travel long distances without having to refill frequently.
