Bajaj India is looking forward to the launch of its flagship model previously unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo called Bajaj Pulsar RS 400. The bike looks aggressive with the muscular and bigger stance like its sibling RS 200. The price and launch date of the new bike is not announced by the company. However, the expected price of the bike in India is around INR 2 Lakhs

Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 Overview

Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 will be one of the bikes from Bajaj entering the 400 cc segment. Having an assertive profile with dual projector headlamps, the bike is eye-catching for the youths of the modern era. The bike is expected to be launched in two variants: Pulsar RS 400 and Pulsar RS 400 ABS.

Features and Design

On the front, Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 has a twin-projector headlamp with LED DRLs, and the rear has a unique tail end design with LED taillight. The muscular stance of the bike will keep the eyes stuck to it with its cuts, fits, and panels. 

The new Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 will have a digital speedometer, digital odometer, analog tachometer, and digital fuel gauge. The bike is built on the same platform as its younger sibling, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, and has a sports-tourer body type

Engine and Performances

The new Pulsar RS 400 will be powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, BS6-compliant, triple spark 373.2 cc engine with a fuel injection (FI) system. This liquid-cooled engine will produce a maximum power of 43 PS at 9000 rpm and generate a peak torque of 35 Nm at 7000 rpm

Moreover, the engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox, and the starting mechanism is self-start only as there is no kick-start. It is expected to have a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters, although the full specifications are not announced yet. 

Brakes and Tires

300 mm Disc brakes handle the braking on the Pulsar RS 400 on the front and 230 mm disc brakes on the rear. The tires on the bike are tubeless, and there is alloy wheels type. 

Moreover, the suspensions on the bike are taken care of by Telescopic suspension fitted on the front, and Mono-shock suspensions are set up on the rear.

Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 Price in Nepal and Availability

Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 has not been officially announced. However, it is expected to launch in India by the end of 2021 if the conditions are good. 

There are no official statements regarding the price of the RS 400 but it is expected to be around Rs. 1.75 Lakhs to Rs. 2 Lakhs.
