Engine and Performance
The TRK 251 will be propelled by a powerful 249cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, BS6 engine that will produce a maximum power of 25.8BHP@9250rpm and a maximum torque of 21.1Nm@8000rpm. The powerful BS6 engine will come mated to a six-speed transmission connected via a chain drive, for smooth riding experience. The bike will have a bore stroke of 72*61.2mm and will have a compression ratio of 11.2:1.
Design and features
The 2020 model TRK 251 will have aggressive appeal and will borrow its inspiration from its elder sibling, Benelli TRK 252. The bike will have a commendable design and will have a sharpened beak-like mudguard on the front. The bike will have a long windshield to provide a comfortable riding experience to the bikers during high-speed riding.
Dimension wise, the new TRK will measure 2070mm at the length, 840mm at the width and 1300mm at the height. The measurement for the width and the height of the bike exclude mirrors.
The bike will have a wheelbase of 1390mm and the ground clearance will stand at 170mm. The bike will have a kerb weight of 176KG and will feature a sculpted fuel tank with a capacity to hold 18liters of petrol.
Talking about the features of all new TRK 251, the bike will have Halogen projector headlamps, LED DRLs, split seats, luggage carrier, large windscreen, and a fully digital TFT color display cluster.
The fully digital instrument cluster complements the appeal of the bike. Like other premium motorcycles, the new Benelli TRK 251 will have Upside-down Forks and Dual-Channel ABS to ensure the safety of the riders. After the launch, the new Benelli TRK 251 will be available in three different color variants: Black, White, and Red.
Brakes and Tires
The braking responsibilities of the TRK 251 will be taken by a 280 mm single floating disc and a 4 piston caliper at the front and a 240 mm disc along with a single-piston caliper at the rear. The suspension duties will be taken care of by a 41mm upside-down forks at the front and a 60mm swing arm with central shock absorber at the rear. Further, the bike will ride on a 110/70 – R17 M/C 54H tire at the front and 150/60 – R17 M/C 66H at the rear for better grip and stability.
The all-new TRK 251 will return a decent mileage of 24.39 kmpl, which can be considered nice for such a powerful dual-purpose bike. The large fuel tank capacity of 18 liters will make sure that you can run for a long-range without worrying about refueling.
