BMW G310R Overview
In this article, we’ll see everything that the BMW G310R has to bring to the table. As of now, it has not been on the hype as much as BMW would want to but it’s definitely an option to consider in 300cc segment motorcycles.
BMW needs no introduction. However, since the company is still new in Nepal, people are a bit sceptical when it comes to splurging their hard-earned fortune on a newly introduced motorcycle. With that said, let’s start with the design and features of the BMW G310R.
Design and Features
The BMW G310R comes with a Naked-Sports body design inspired by the S1000R. The bike has a muscular stance with sharp edges. The golden front upside-down suspension gives off a premium feel to the motorcycle. The alloy wheels look nothing like what we are used to. Now, it is a BMW motorcycle, so the design sleekly compliments the brand status.
In short, the MBW G310R boasts an aggressive design with premium quality, extraordinary technology, and extreme attention to detail.
Engine and Performance
Powering the BMW G310R is a 313cc liquid-cooled DOHC, FI Engine. It generates a maximum power of 34bhp and a maximum torque of 28Nm. Furthermore, the engine is accompanied by a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.
Besides the high power, the motorcycle is nimble to handle and is great at keeping a smile on your face. I’d say the BMW G310R is a practical motorbike whether it be for commuting or touring.
Brakes and Tires
For the braking, the BMW G310R comes with a 300mm single disc at the front along with a 240mm single disc at the rear. The bike features dual-channel ABS. However, the ABS is not switchable.
Moreover, the G310R comes with a 110/80 R19 tire at the front and a 150/60 R17 tire at the back. The tires on this motorcycle provide excellent grip and are great for riding in terrain as well as highways.
