The Chinese motorcycle brand will be launching a new faired sports motorcycle 250SR in Nepal. The SR in the name stands for Sport racing. After the launch, the bike is expected to create momentum for the CF moto bikes in Nepal. The CFMoto 250SR is essentially a fully-faired version of the naked motorcycle CFMoto 250NK and will share the same powertrain and underpinnings.
The all-new 250 SR is not yet launched in Nepal. The authorized distributor of CFMoto motorcycles in Nepal, Anna motorcycles Pvt. Ltd is planning to declare the launch date of CF Moto 250SR in 2021.

The new model CF Moto bike will be getting the same engine as its predecessor 250NK. However, the CFMoto 250SR will be getting a BS6 compliant engine this time and equipped with a 249.2 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that will produce a maximum power of 20.5 KW @9750RPM and a peak torque of 22 Nm @ 7500 RPM.
The powerful liquid-cooled engine will come mated with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch assist. The bore of this bike will be 72 mm, and stroke will be 61.2 mm, due to which there will be no reduction in the performance of the bike.
Design and features
The bike’s overall design is quite commendable, and as the name suggests, the new CF Moto 250 SR adopts sporty looks and design, which justifies its unique sports racing style. The motorcycle has been revealed across the virtual platforms, and there we can see that it comes with two beautiful color options— Nebula Black and Turquoise Blue.
The design of the bike is quite aggressive and will remind you of the TVS Apache RR310. The fairing on the bike looks quite impressive and will surely be a game-changer.
The new CFMoto 250SR comes with a twin LED headlamp alongside C-shaped DRLs and clip-on handlebars. It will also have a fully digital TFT instrument console and two riding modes – Sport and Eco. The motorcycle will be 2010 mm long, 750 mm wide, and 1080 mm tall. It will have a wheelbase of 1360 mm and a saddle height of 780mm. Talking about the hardware, it will come with a dual-channel ABS and a slipper clutch. For suspension, the bike will use USD forks and Mono shock.
The bike will come with a muscular fuel tank with a capacity to hold 12 liters of fuel. The ground clearance will stand at 135mm, which is pretty cool. The bike sounds heavy, but you will be surprised to hear that it has a kerb weight of 165kg only.
Brakes and Tyres
Braking duties will be taken care of by a 292mm single hydraulic disc brake at the front and 220mm disc brake at the rear. These brakes will then be assisted by the dual-channel ABS for improved safety. Suspension duties will be taken care of by 37 mm USD forks at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. The bike will ride on a 110/70 R17 tire at the front and 140/60 R17 at the rear for improved grip and stability.
The new CF Moto bike will have a decent fuel efficiency of 40-45 km / l. With a full tank of fuel, i.e., 12 liters, the bike will cover a distance of 500Km easily without needing to be refueled again.
