Honda Xblade is what you get to stand out from the crowd on a budget. It is unique and possesses some plausible features making it a worthy competitor in the 160cc segment.
Honda is no new name in the motorcycle world. The company is known for its high level of refinement in engine and body parts. Those who opt-in for a long term commitment to a motorcycle would love this one.
Honda Xblade Overview
The Xblade is rather … different. Even I can’t think of a motorcycle that looks like it does. And I mean that in a good way. It is unique in its way. In my opinion, professional and more mature riders would enjoy Xblade more. With that said, let’s start with its design and features.
Design and Features
The Honda Xblade comes with a muscular yet unique body design. The finish is neat and there is no gapping between panels. Usage of carbon fiber finish and matte colors on the Xblade gives it a premium look and feel.
The motorcycle is loaded with features as well.
The salient features of Honda Xblade are:
- Dual Outlet Muffler
- Razor Edged LED Tail Lamp
- Aggressive Sculpted Tank Design
- Wide Rear Tire With Hugger Fender
- Powerful 160cc Engine
- Monoshock Suspension
- Long Seat
- Groovy Grab Rail
- Low Maintenance Seal Chain
- Hazard Switch
Engine and Performance
Powering the Honda Xblade is Honda’s 160cc PGM-FI NEWHET (Honda Eco Technology) engine. It uses 8 onboard sensors to constantly inject an optimum mixture of fuel and air to achieve greater performance.
The engine generates a maximum power of 14bhp at 8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 14.7Nm at 5,500rpm. Accompanying the 160cc engine is a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. The power delivery is linear with adequate throttle response.
Brakes and Tires
In terms of braking, you get two options. One can either pick dual-disc on the front and the back or the single-disc variant at the front. The Xblade comes with a single-channel ABS on the front providing a progressive yet powerful braking power.
For the tires, the bike comes with 80/100-17 and 130/70-17 tires at the front and the rear respectively. Tires are thick enough to handle terrains and highways both with ease.
Honda Xblade Price in Nepal
Honda Xblade price in Nepal is set at NPR. 2,98,900. Pretty reasonable price for a 160cc motorcycle that offers more than enough features to suffice your riding needs.
Not going to lie, the Robo-Face LED headlamps is not my cup of tea. But the motorcycle is surely noticeable. A glance at the motorcycle and you just want to know more about it.
The Honda Xblade is an attention grabber without a doubt. It boasts its unique design everywhere it goes. Plus, if you are looking for a balance between performance and looks, then I think no other options on the 160cc segment is quite as fascinating as the Xblade from Honda.
