Husqvarna Svartpilen 250
Design and Features
Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 carries a scrambler minimalistic approach. This bike is what you would expect a modern classic motorcycle to be. It is sleek, minimal, modern, and vintage all at the same time.
The Svartpilen 250 is just…Unique. It is quite hard to explain the design of this motorbike. The bike is attractive and without a doubt a head-turner. It is smaller as compared to most of the 250 motorcycles in Nepal. however, instead of an old-school instrument cluster, it’s digital.
Engine and Performance
Powered by a 248.8cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled FI engine, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 is also BS6 compliant. That means smooth power delivery with less emission. It generates a max power of 30PS at 9,000rpm and max torque of 24Nm at 7,500rpm. The power figures are identical to the KTM Duke 250.
Accompanied by 6-speed manual transmission, the gear shifting on this motorcycle is fluid. As I mentioned, Svartpilen 250 shares a lot of resemblances with the KTM Duke 250 in terms of engine and performance.
The fuel tank on Svartpilen 250 is a mere 9.5-litre tank. I’m guessing it’s for the dynamics and performance. It would have been nicer to see a larger tank, maybe on the next upgrade.
Salient features of Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 in Nepal:
