Agni MotoInc Pvt. Ltd., the subsidiary of Agni Group, the authorized distributor of Jawa Motorcycles in Nepal, has finally launched its new motorcycle in the Nepalese market. After the successful launch of two models Jawa and Jawa 42, a few months ago, the new model- Jawa Perak entered the Nepali market. The price of the new Jawa Perak is set at Rs. 7.50 Lakhs and is available in a single color variant.
Jawa Perak Overview
Jawa Perak is a cruiser bike available in only one variant and one color. The new JAWA Perak is powered by a 334cc BS6 engine with 30 bhp of power and 31 Nm torque. Moreover, the bike is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The simple combination of Black and Gold looks stylish and eye-catching at the same time. It has the classic Bobber attitude with styling similar to the classic Jawa Motorcycles.
Features and Design
The Jawa Perak is a historic brand for Jawa as its name is revived for a factory-custom bobber. The Perak is a perfect-looking motorcycle and has a low-slung profile.
The bike has a blacked-out theme with a matte black-grey paint job with black color paint for its mechanical components. The motorcycle design is highlighted with a gold streak on the fuel tank and side panels.
Other motorcycle features include the floating seat design with a tan-brown leather seat that provides the Classic Bobber Attitude.
The bike is equipped with a halogen lamp all around with an LED tail lamp. The bike’s instrument cluster is a circular unit with a small digital unit for the odometer.
Engine and Performance
The Jawa Perak is powered by a 334cc engine, which is slightly larger than the standard Jawa and Jawa 42. It has a single-cylinder with liquid cooling, 4-stroke, SI engine, and DOHC BS6 compliant engine. The bike produces a maximum power of 30.64 PS and a peak torque of 32.74 Nm, along with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Jawa Perak has a fuel tank of 14 liters capacity and a curb weight of 175kg. The bore stroke is 81 x 65 mm with twin exhaust.
The motorcycle wheelbase is 1485mm with a seat height of 750mm.
Brakes and Tires
The suspension on Jawa Perak is handled by telescopic forks in the front and a mono-shock mount in the rear end. The bike’s braking is taken care of by disc brakes and a floating caliper on both tires. The disc size is 280mm front disc and 240mm rear disc.
Jawa Perak’s tires are 100/90-18 inches in the front, and the rear tire is 140/70-17 inches. The bike also has dual-channel ABS.
