OFFICIAL: Kasaka Bikes Officially Launched in Nepal

Style Trade Line, the sole distributor of Kasaka Dirt Bikes in Nepal has recently introduced two of the newest dirt-bike models i.e. Kasaka DT 200 and Kasaka 250 GY. These models were launched via an official press release and there has been a considerable hype regarding the Kasaka bikes in Nepal.

Both the models of Kasaka are available across the company’s dealership that includes Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Dhading. The brand looks promising with its incredible pricing on the bikes. The designs on these bikes are enticing but I would not yet compare these to the established dirt bikes in Nepal.

Let’s take a deeper look into the Kasaka 200 and the Kasaka 250.

Kasaka 200:

Kasaka 200 brings nostalgia from years before when dirt bikes were first seen on the streets. The old-school design of this bike makes it look a little bit bulky for a dirt-bike.

The Kasaka 200 is a 197cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine motorcycle that generates a max power of 14 bhp at 7,500rpm and a max torque of 14Nm at 6,500rpm.

Salient Features of Kasaka 200:

  • Retro Enduro Design
  • Dual Disc Brakes
  • Large Luggage Rack
  • Retro Fork Covers
  • Off-Road Spoke Wheels
  • Boxy Tank Shrouds with Rectangular Elements
  • Retro White-Red Color Scheme

Surprisingly, the top speed of the Kasaka 200 is said to be 100kmph. Definitely not meant for racing. But I think anyone will appreciate the looks. It is available in two different colours: Red & White.

The Kasaka 200 price in Nepal is NPR.3,95,000.

Kasaka 250:

In comparison to the Kasaka 200, the design is much more modern. Personally, I like this one better. However, it carries a similar frame and still gives out some old-school vibe to it.

The engine on this bike is a 223cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It can generate a max power of 16bph at 7,500rpm and a max torque of 16Nm at 6,500rpm. Complimenting the 223cc engine is a 5-speed manual-shift gearbox.

Salient features of Kasaka 250:

  • Suzuki DR 150 Inspired Design
  • Beak Style Front Fenders
  • Dual Disc Brakes
  • Spoke Wheels
  • High Mounted Exhaust
  • Sharp Tank Shrouds
  • Armor Style Tank Protection

The Kasaka 250 is only a bit faster as compared to Kasaka 200 with a top speed of 105kmph. Still pretty low in my opinion. But the 250 is more aggressive and muscular. The bike comes in two colours i.e. Black and Green.

Kasaka 250 Price in Nepal: NPR. 4,15,000.

Verdicts on the Kasaka dirt-bikes & Availability

Personally, I think the performance figures are pretty low for a 200 or 250cc motorcycle. But we are going to have to wait until the reviews start rolling in. This could become the new beloved dirt-bikes in Nepal. I sure think that there’s a good amount of audiences who will appreciate Kasaka.

Nevertheless, these are just as speculation. For the real data, we are going to have to wait. With a large number of motorcycle enthusiasts in Nepal, I don’t think we are going to have to wait for long.

If you are looking forward to purchasing a Kasaka motorcycle, I’d recommend you to take a test ride first. Reach out to the Kasaka showrooms to the test ride.
