1290 KTM Super Adventure Price in Nepal

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure is a superbike manufactured and marketed by KTM. The 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure is likely to be unveiled on January 26, 2021. The company has released a teaser with the tagline “The World Gets Smaller”, which might be a hint that they are going to unveil the new top-of-the-line Adventure Bike.

1290 KTM Super Adventure Overview

The 1290 Super Adventure will be released in 2 variants R and S. The R variant is more of an off-road capable motorbike. KTM has not officially unveiled the details about the superbike, but it accidentally appeared on the web page of the company showing some major details. While KTM already took those pages down, but the updated details of the superbike were captured and leaked on the internet. 

2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure Engine

The 2021 update for both variants of 1290 Adventure, R and S, have a number of updates. The 2021 model of the 1290 Adventure uses a new exhaust system to meet the Euro 5 standards

The new exhaust system on the KTM 1290 consists of a header pipe connecting to two catalytic converters. The split designed exhaust helps to increase the cooling which is a positive factor for the engines.

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure is equipped with a 1301cc V-Twin engine. The maximum power generated by the superbike is the same as it’s predecessor at 160 horsepower, but the peak torque has slightly decreased to 138 Nm from 140 Nm.

The 2021 update also uses two radiators and a redesigned airbox for easy access to the air filter. This powerful bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox.

2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure Design and Chassis

The 2021 Super Adventure bike gets a chrome-molybdenum steel trellis frame combining laser-cut tubes and forged elements. KTM has moved the engine within the body frame and the steering head has been moved backward

The redesigned seat of the 1290 super adventure will be positioned lower in comparison to the older versions. The R variant’s seat is 0.4 inches lower while the S variant’s seat is adjustable from 33.4 to 34.2 inches, which was previously 33.8 to 34.4 inches.

The fuel tank is designed rally-styled, which lowers the center of gravity and allows better balance. Moreover, the S variant has a redesigned windshield, which allows better wind protection than the R variant, having a shorter windshield.

2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure Price in Nepal and Availability

There has been no official announcement from the company regarding the price range and product launch of the 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure in the market. But the teaser on the official site of the company hints that the Superbike might be released on January 26.

The price range has also not been discussed but we can assume that the price will be in the same range as the 2020 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, which costs around $18,599.
