KTM 250 Adventure is all set to enter the Nepali market. After the successful launch of KTM 390 Adventure, KTM is set to launch another adventure bike in Nepal, the all-new KTM 250.
Hansraj Hulaschand and Co., the authorized distributor of KTM motorcycles in Nepal, has announced that the KTM 250 is available for booking in any official showroom of the KTM bike. The bike will soon be launched formally, although it is already in Nepal and is set at a price of Rs. 7.49 Lakhs.
KTM 250 Adventure Overview
The all-new KTM 250 Adventure is a lightweight motorcycle in the KTM adventure series. The bike looks sporty and perfect for daily use and for traveling through various adventures. The color of the body is produced to help keep up the fresh look even after some scratches. The more comprehensive tank spoilers and rear side panels help in smooth control. The bike is also equipped with offroad ABS with improves the braking in various offroad situations.
Features and Design
The KTM 250 has a distinct KTM-style body, excellent ergonomics, and rally-bike inspired aggressive look. The shape of the fuel tank is enhanced, providing riders freedom of movement and the best control. The bike is equipped with a slipper clutch which helps to save power and also helps in slides.
The ultra-lightweight and highly stable trellis frame provides excellent stability and controllability. The 250 KTM Adventure has a high-end, tapered steel handlebar that provides a comfortable riding position and maximum control. Also, there are wide and robust footpegs that are inspired by the offroad models and are designed for all-day riding.
Engine and Performance
KTM 250 is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke 250cc engine. The engine has a self-start mechanism with delivers smooth power along with the twin overhead camshafts, four valves, and fuel-injection technology.
The 248.8 cc engine of the KTM 250 Adventure can generate a maximum power of 29.50 PS at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 24 Nm at 7500 rpm. The bike’s fuel tank capacity is 14.5 liters and offers a mileage of about 27.5 km per liter.
The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 156 kg, and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The all-new 250 Adventure is eco-friendly and EU5-compliant exhaust emission standards. The two catalytic converters and the fuel tank ventilation system (EVAP system) improves emission values and protect the environment from fuel vapors.
Brakes and Tires
The suspension on the KTM 250 Adventure is handled by 170 mm WP APEX 43 on the front, and on the rear is a 177 mm WP APEX – Monoshock. The braking on the bike is a four-piston radial-fixed caliper on the front and a single-piston floating caliper on the rear. The front brake disc is 200mm in diameter, and that of the rear brake is 230 mm.
Moreover, the KTM 250 Adventure’s seat height is 855 mm with a ground clearance of 200 mm. The starting mechanism is an electric self-starter.
