Yatri has finally announced the most-awaited news for the Nepali riders and fans. Yatri motorcycles finally reveal the pre-order date of the most-anticipated electric motorcycle, Project Zero (P-0).

The bike will be available for pre-booking from 23rd April 2021 after the company launches it for a public demonstration. However, the pricing is not announced yet.
Project Zero (P-0) Overview
Yatri was founded in 2017 with a motive to provide world-class electric vehicles with their design, engineering, and manufacturing everything from the grounds up in Nepal. This helps people to know that switching to electric vehicles is not a compromise but a better, quicker, and kinder thing for the planet.
Project Zero has inherited the design from the “Cafe Racer,” with more clean and modern lines, which has a design philosophy of Elegance in Motion.
Features and Design
The Project Zero bike offers excellent market-leading vehicle software that can provide valuable data for the riders and connect them throughout the journey. The 7-inch TFT dashboard is placed instead of the traditional tachometer with various in-built sensor data.

The integrated taillight of the bike has valuable features like charging status and auto-off indicators. Other features include in-built 4G connectivity and navigation, keyless start, and OTA updates which updates P-0 for many years.
Battery and Performances
The power in the P-0 is handled by a battery pack that incorporates Lithium-Nickel-Manganese chemistry pouch cells holding 8 kWh of energy. This battery pack comes with a 3.3 kW onboard charger with 2 hours of full charge feature and can provide a huge range of 230 km.

The motor in the P-0 is a 48 kW electric motor that offers an instant torque of 650 Nm with 97% efficiency maintenance-free life. The electric bike can go from 0 to 60 km per hour under 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 140 km per hour.
The kerb weight of the P-0 is 190 kg with a seat height of 800 mm, 1400 mm wheelbase, and 175 mm ground clearance.

On the front, a 320mm disc Brembo 2-piston and on the rear, 240mm disc Brembo 1-piston Warner Borg E-braking are used for providing the safety of Project Zero. Similarly, the suspension on the Bike is handled by 43 mm RCP adjustable USD forks on the front and on the rear by RC adjustable nitrogen-charged mono-shock.
The wheels of the P-0 are Aluminum rims and CNC machined hubs with 110/70-17 and 150/60-17 Metzeler Sportec M7RR tires on the front and rear, respectively. The chassis of the bike is Chromoly Steel Trellis Frame which supports all the components.
