Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited is a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation in India for production and sales, recently unveiled the all-new Suzuki Hayabusa in India. Starting the sales from May, the sports bike is assembled in India, with the parts coming all the way from Japan. The price of the Suzuki Hayabusa in India is set at INR 16.40 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Suzuki Hayabusa is famed for its abundant power, agility, and majestic presence while being legendary for creating a new level of ultimate sports performance. The Suzuki brand is very popular globally, producing many high-performance bikes with great power and mileage. However, the Hayabusa is in the number one position for the past two decades with accessories including a touring screen, carbon-look mirror cover, single-seat cowling, Hayabusa Fuel Tank Pad, Luggage hook and Front Axle Slider.

Suzuki Hayabusa is beautiful to look at due to its sleek and aerodynamic silhouette with an added modern look to its style and better attention to the finest details. The design concept of the bike, “The Refined Beast”, is well-explained by the long and low stance screaming the power and performance, poise and keen perspective abilities.

Moreover, Hayabusa has an upswept tail and mufflers, lending to the aggressive stance of its mass-forward image. The bike has splashes of colours and chrome accents contrast blacked-out panel sections creating a good visual impression. With new English and Japanese logos, which really speaks of the speed making the Hayabusa true ‘Tour de Force’. 

Engine and Performances

The Suzuki Hayabusa is refined through the legendary 1340 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC inline-four engine, which achieves a better balance of overall performance, great efficiency and durability. The bore and stroke ratio of the engine is 81 x 65 mm and a compression ratio of 12.5:1. The vehicle has an electric ignition and a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox transmission

The aerodynamics of the Hayabusa is a major factor for the bike, reaching 300 km per hour. The power and maximum torque allow a confident ride in gear at any speed, while its chassis and running gear helps to put the rider in full control of the bike. The bike has superior core strength, optimized suspension with maximized grip, agility, and stopping power. 

Brakes and Tires

Suzuki Hayabusa is equipped with Brembo Stylema, 4-piston, twin disc, ABS on the front brakes and on the rear is Nissin, 1-piston, single disc, ABS-equipped. Similarly, the suspensions on the bike are handled by Inverted Telescopic, Coil Spring, Oil Damped suspension on the front and Link Type, Coil Spring, Oil Damped Suspension on the rear. 

The tires on Suzuki Hayabusa are 120/70Z R17 M/C, tubeless tire on the front and on the rear is 190/50Z R17 M/C, tubeless tire. Moreover, the dimension of the bike is 2180 mm in length, 735 mm in width, 1165 mm in height and a wheelbase of 1480 mm. Similarly, the ground clearance is 125 mm, kerb weight is 266 kg, and seat height is 800 mm

Suzuki Hayabusa Price in Nepal and Availability

Suzuki Hayabusa was already unveiled globally but has officially launched in India. The vehicle is priced at INR 16.440 Lakhs (ex-Showroom, Delhi). The bike is not yet announced for Nepal, but we hope that the legendary Hayabusa will come to Nepal. 

The Suzuki Hayabusa has a Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S), where the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-α) offers a smarter and surer ride with Power Mode Selector, Anti-lift Control System, Bi-Directional Quick Shift System, Engine Brake Control System, and Motion Track Traction Control System.
