Triumph Trident 660 Overview
Triumph Trident 660 comes with a first-in-segment triple engine, class-leading handling, TFT Display, and class-leading technology. The full LED headlight, integrated tail light, and self-canceling LED indicators make it a head-turner bike. The bike guarantees 10,000 miles of service and is a bike made for power preferring youths.
Features and Design
Triumph Trident 660 is based on the platform built on a Tubular steel perimeter frame with Twin-sided, fabricated steel swingarms. There is a circular, entirely automated instrument cluster, LED headlamp, a small tail section that provides a sporty look, and a sleek LED tail light.
There are two riding modes available: Road and Rain, and the bike also has a “My Triumph” connectivity system. Moreover, there is a multi-functional digital instrument panel with a TFT display.
The Trident 660 hosts premium technology features, switchable traction control, self-canceling LED indicators. The bike also has incorporated clean lines, a minimalist rear end, and a sculpted fuel tank giving the bike a perfect combination of style and thrilling package.
Engine and Performances
The all-new Triumph Trident 660 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 660 cc. The maximum power produced by the engine is 81 PS / 80 bhp (60 kW) @ 10,250 rpm, and the peak torque it can generate is 64 Nm @ 6,250 rpm.
The engine of the Trident 660 is equipped with a 6-speed transmission gearbox. The bore X stroke ratio of the bike is 74 mm X 51.1 mm with compression of 11.1:1. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 14 liters and a dry weight of 189 kg.
Brakes and Tires
The brakes on the Trident 660 are from Nissin, and the bike has a dual-channel ABS feature. The braking on the front is handled by two-piston sliding calipers, twin 310mm floating discs, and that on the rear is taken care of by a single-piston sliding caliper, a single 255mm disc.
Similarly, the bike’s suspensions are taken care of with Showa 41mm upside down separate function forks (SFF) and Showa mono-shock RSU, with preload adjustment on the front and rear, respectively.
The handlebars’ width is 790 mm, the height (without mirrors) is 1080 mm, and the wheelbase is 1407 mm. Moreover, the bike’s seat height is 805 mm, and the tires on the bike are of size 120/70R17 on the front and 180/55R17 on the rear.
