GWM Poer is launching in Nepal soon.
VG Impex Pvt. Ltd., the to-be authorized distributor of GWM vehicles in Nepal, is preparing to bring new models of pick-up trucks for Nepal. The new GWM Poer pickup trucks are launched with a new design, premium features, and intelligent safety. The vehicle is powerful practically and mechanically. GWM is also bringing GWM Haval H6, GWM Haval Jolion, GWM Wingle 5, and GMW Ora R1
GWM Poer Overview
GWM began its journey in the automobile industry by developing and manufacturing pick-up trucks. The GWM pickup had produced over 1.6 million vehicles since 1996, when they began production. The company exports the trucks to Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, the middle east, South America, Africa, and many other parts of the world.
Engine and Performance
The new GWM Pore is available in two engine variants: a 2.0L Turbocharged Diesel engine and a 2.0L Turbocharged Petrol engine.
The 2.0L Turbocharged Diesel engine can generate a maximum power of 120 kW (161 hp) at 3600 rpm and generate a peak torque of 400 Nm at 1500 – 2500 rpm.
Similarly, the 2.0L Turbocharged Petrol engine generates a maximum power of 140 kW (187 hp) at 4000 – 5000 rpm and a peak torque of 360 Nm at 1800 – 3600 rpm.
Moreover, the pickup truck is equipped with a class-leading ZF – 8-speed Automatic Transmission for reliable performance, smooth gear-shifting, and reliable responsiveness. An intelligent 2WD/4WD switch enables superior vehicle performance and better anti-skidding capability.
Interior & Exterior Design and Features
The body of the GWM Poer is made of a high-strength cage-type body, armor protection with a high tensile steel body, door impact beam, and double frontal impact absorption structure.
Not just engines, the new GWM Poer is available in two styles of your choice: Individual and Commercial.
The first version is a Commercial variant with a simple and modern design. It features hawk-eye headlamps and a nebula grille for its design.
The second version is an individual variant made for pickup truck enthusiasts. It has a bold chrome grille which provides a muscular body line, dual-tone interiors, leather finishing, and premium fitting.
The LED headlamps are the main source of light as they have multiple lighting devices and also provide driving safety. The pickup’s tailgate is equipped with a damper, a class unique concealed cargo ladder for easy access, and a panoramic sunroof.

GWM Poer Price in Nepal and Availability
The price of GWM Poer is not unveiled yet, but with the premium features and great competitors in the Nepali pickup market, the price will be the same as its competition.
GWM would compete with the likes of Foton Tunland E, Ford Ranger, ISUZU D-Max, and Toyota Hilux.
GWM Poer is available in two variants: Individual and Commercial, where the Individual Poer will be much more expensive than the commercial version, which is available for commercial purposes. GWM Poer and other vehicles from GWM are expected to launch together by mid-2021.
